Too many small and mid sized businesses are not taking the time to examine the strength of their local search engine optimization. Consumer research and behavior have shifted to such a point that Google reports that nearly half of all searches conducted are people looking for local info and that nearly 90 percent of those hunting down local info are visiting a store, or business, that day. In support of the importance of local SEO, Hubspot just released some important data that simply can’t be ignored. The following is taken directly from that published report:
