  • Companies agree that creating compelling content for social media is both the most effective (82%), and most difficult (69%) part of social media marketing tactics (Ascend2)
  • 49% of marketers say that social media is the most effective channel to include in their digital marketing plan (Ascend2)
  • 44% of local businesses said they depend on social media to generate brand awareness, and 41% depend on it to drive revenue (eMarketer)
  • Almost 90% of marketers say their social marketing efforts have increased exposure for their business, and 75% say they’ve increased traffic (Social Media Examiner)
